How?
A prescription is written by your midwife or Gyno. Then, paperwork is sent to be filled out by your insurance, or your midwife can provide it and get it signed again to hand in. If you know or have a doula with an insurance number, wait for approval. If not, you will need to start looking. The Facebook group find a Doula Berlin has German and English-speaking support, plus more languages if needed.
Who can get this?
It depends on the situation, but it is recommended to speak with your midwife or gynecologist to help with your current situation. If you have children under 3 at home, had twins, have no help at home, Had a C-section for example, you can get in home support paid by your health insurance.
