Order Process

Fresh food deliveries: Our fresh meal packages work on a pre-order basis. Place your order by the latest 8pm Monday it will be delivered on the Thursday of that week or on the week you’ve chosen at checkout.
Frozen food deliveries: For our frozen meal offerings, you can order these any time and we will post them via DPD Food overnight tracked shipping and will arrive with you between Tuesday-Friday.

Fresh food deliveries: If you want to order for the first week of when your baby has arrived, we suggest to order one week after your due date. If baby comes early or later, that's no problem - just email us and we can figure out a new delivery date.
Frozen food deliveries: With our frozen range we have made it easier for you. Now you can order our frozen meals at any time and either order them before the due date and store them in the freezer or as soon as your baby arrives. We deliver between Tuesday-Friday via Overnight DPD Food Express. As soon as you receive a shipping confirmation, you will get the goods the very next business day.

No, of course not. Maybe you're recovering from surgery or treatment. Or you just love nutritious and healing meals, and want to order them all to yourself.

Only Fresh food deliveries: Yes you can. We understand life with a baby is unpredictable so just email us 72 hours prior to your delivery date and we can pause your order accordingly.

If you require an actual tax invoice, please contact us via our email address with your order number and we can send you a digital copy over.

Subscription Plans

We have created a subscription so you can automatically receive your order each week from the start date selected. This will not only make it stress-free for your family but great postpartum planning.

The selected package will be delivered every consecutive Thursday until paused or cancelled by you.

You can cancel your subscription 7 days prior to the next delivery. Simply email us at

An automatic payment will come off your chosen payment option every Monday for the next Thursday Delivery.

It's always best if the package can be received in person so the meals can be placed in the freezer or fridge directly. However we understand life happens so if you can't be home for one of the deliveries contact us 48 hours before the next delivery and we can let the courier know to leave your package with a trusted neighbour or at your doorstep in your absence. We cannot be responsible for your package being undelivered.

The subscription is ongoing until you cancel it. 2 weeks are minimum to sign up for the subscription.


Fresh food deliveries: We ship nationwide via Messenger Overnight Express. Please make sure that someone is at home on the day of delivery. Messenger will deliver between 9am - 1pm within Berlin and by 5pm throughout Germany on your selected Thursday.
Snack deliveries: If you have ordered snacks, our books or tea only, this will be shipped via normal postage and can take up to 3-5 working days.
Frozen meal deliveries: If you have chosen one of our frozen meal offerings, these will be overnight shipped via DPD Food and will arrive with you between Tuesday-Friday. Once you have received a shipment fulfilled email from us, you will receive a tracking number and the package will be arriving the next working day.

Yes we ship all across Germany.

Fresh Food deliveries: We understand life with a baby is unpredictable so if you can't be home during this time, leave a note at the checkout or email us before your selected Thursday delivery and we can let the courier know to leave your package with a trusted neighbour or at your doorstep in your absence. If you did not receive your package during this time window, please contact us within 4 hours so we can locate it. We cannot be hold accountable for undelivered packages due to absence or no contact.
Frozen Food deliveries: Since we deliver via DPD Food, you will receive an email from us as well as from DPD with a tracking number where you can designate a drop-off location or a neighbor who will accept your package in your absence. Please note that this must be picked up on the same day to due to the lifespan of the cool packs.

Fresh Food deliveries: Food is the best gift you could give someone but sadly this can’t be fully a surprise. Please give your loved ones a heads up that something is arriving for them on the selected Thursday between 9am-1pm (Berlin) or 9am-5pm (outside Berlin) and that it’s fresh food that needs to be refrigerated as soon after arrival.
Frozen meal deliveries: When you receive a shipping confirmation from us and DPD Food Express, please share the time window that DPD will email you with your loved one to ensure someone is home during that time.

Because we are handling refrigerated food, we have to use Messenger Overnight Courier or DPD Food, where nationwide delivery costs 9,90 €. We are constantly working on keeping the delivery costs as low as possible for you. To ensure a sustainable and fast delivery throughout Germany, we unfortunately are facing high costs and hoping to lower them in the very near future.

Fresh food delivery: We cool down all meals to +8 degrees before your order gets packaged food-safe and placed in thermo boxes together with cool packs to ensure the cool chain will not be interrupted during transit.
Frozen food delivery: All frozen items will be packaged in food-safe thermo boxes together with cool packs to ensure the cool chain will not be interrupted during transit.

Due to past experiences we are not offering pick ups anymore. If you do however would like to pick up, please contact us and we can certainly arrange something. We will however charge a no-show fee of 9,90€ in case the package does not get picked up during the time window given.


The dishes are prepared in our local kitchen, Herzensküche, Stephanstraße 5, 12167 Berlin by our trained Chef gabby with hand-picked ingredients and a lot of attention to detail for the postpartum period.

Fresh food delivery: All our meals are either vegetarian or vegan or can be made vegan upon request. If you have any concern or worry about an ingredient, please contact us or leave a not at checkout as we can custom-make your meals according to your dietary requirements.
Frozen food delivery: All our frozen dishes are either vegetarian or vegan/nut-free/gluten-free. Since these have already been prepared, we can unfortunately not consider other allergens or dietary requirements.

A dish is always 2 servings for one person. But ultimately, of course, it's up to you if you would like to indulge everything by yourself or share with a loved one.

Depending on the type of dish, you either place in a water bath or pour the content out of the bag into a saucepan and heat until desired temperature. Some dishes, like the Bakes and Lasagnas, you take out of the meal trays, place in an oven-proof dish and then in the oven until desired heat. With our frozen goods, these meals must thaw before they can be heated.

The preparation of a complete dish never takes more than around 10-15 minutes. Nothing more needs to be chopped or prepared, just reheated.

Gift Voucher

When you purchase a digital gift voucher, you will receive a code sent via the email address you have provided at checkout. If you are gifting this to a friend, please use their email address or alternatively you can get it sent to yourself first and then forward onto them.

We offer beautiful printed gift voucher with an envelope that takes 2-3 days to get printed and sent via post. The 8 € charged at checkout covers the postage, the printing on the craft paper as well as the pretty envelope the voucher arrives in.

Our digital and printed voucher expire within one year. They cannot be used for cash trades or for purchasing other vouchers in our online store.

Please check your email spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails may have snuck in there. If it's also not in there and you still haven't received your digital voucher code, please contact us via email or chat and we can offer assistance.


Fresh food delivery: Yes of course! We always recommend to freeze the main meals straight away once you have received the package to have them last even longer. Best to eat the breakfasts and treats fresh. The Super Mama Goji Energy Treats, you can freeze also.
Frozen food delivery: If the frozen goods still arrive in a frozen state, they can be stored in the freezer again. However, sometimes the shipment may take longer than planned or due to other unforeseen circumstances, the frozen goods may not be in a completely frozen state anymore. In this case we recommend to put them in the refrigerator and consume them within the next 4 working days.

The shelf life of the dishes varies between the individual creations, but as long as you keep them refrigerated, we guarantee a shelf life of the meals without loss of freshness of up to 4 days from delivery day. The Super Mama Goji Energy Treats last for 2 weeks from arrival and the Granola for up to 1 month. If meals are frozen directly after arrival, they will still fresh for up to 3 months. The frozen goods can also be ket fresh for up to 3 months when stored in the freezer and still completely frozen at the time of arrival.


At Mama Muun we are constantly researching and working on more sustainable ways to create less impact on the environment. That's why we offer only plant-based meals and source our ingredients regionally whenever and wherever possible, taking care of the carbon footprint of our products.

Your Mama Muun dishes come either in 100% recyclable bags or in biodegradable meal trays that are sealed with a thin film. Compared to traditional plastic trays, this saves us more than 95% plastic. We also use 100% BPA-free materials. However we are still not happy with these results and are on a constant look out for better plastic-free and recyclable options and trialing always new ways to deliver even more sustainably.

In your Mama Muun package you can
- recycle the cardboard box via the paper bin.
- add the inlay cooling fabric to the yellow bin as it is made from recycled bottles.
- add our meal trays to the normal bin as it's biodegradable. The tray foil will be recycled via the yellow bin.
- recycle our soup and stew bags via the yellow bin.
